Following the divorce, her father John Ramsey remarried to Patricia (Patsy) Paugh in 1980. Tragically, Patricia passed away from ovarian cancer at the age of 49 in 2006.
Subsequently, John married Jan Rousseaux and they relocated to Michigan. Elizabeth has two siblings named John Andrew Ramsey and Melinda Ramsey, as well as half-siblings named Burke Ramsey and JonBenét Ramsey.
Her grandparents on her father’s side were Mary Jane and James Dudley Ramsey, who was a brave pilot during World War II.

JonBenét’s father, John Bennett Ramsey, was the one who discovered her deceased body in the basement. The cause of death was a severe blow to her head, which resulted in a broken skull. Additionally, she had been strangled with something tied around her neck.
The official autopsy report concluded that JonBenét’s cause of death was due to being strangled while also sustaining a head injury. The authorities ruled it a homicide, which attracted a lot of attention from the public and media all over the world.
Part of the interest in the case was because JonBenét’s mother, Patsy Ramsey, had also been involved in beauty pageants when she was younger.
This detail added to the curiosity surrounding the tragic crime. However, even after all these years, the case remains a mystery and is still being investigated by the Boulder Police Department.
JonBenét’s body was discovered on December 26, 1996, following a report of her disappearance. Alongside this heartbreaking discovery, a ransom note was also found on the kitchen staircase of the Ramsey family’s home in Boulder.
This note, written by hand and spanning multiple pages, demanded a large sum of money, specifically US$118,000.

Elizabeth Pasch Ramsey: Death
Elizabeth Pasch Ramsey, aged 22, and her boyfriend Matthew Derrington were killed in a car accident on January 8, 1992. The accident occurred on Interstate 55 at County Line Road in Burr Ridge, DuPage County, Illinois, USA.
Elizabeth was a passenger in Matthew’s car when it collided with a truck on the wet road. According to her death certificate, she succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
Elizabeth’s half-sister JonBenét Ramsey also passed away at the age of six on December 26, 1996, in Boulder, Colorado, USA. She was laid to rest next to her half-sister at St. James Episcopal Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.
