File Transfer Hacks: Spiridon Geha

Transferring files from one device to another has been made easy with modern technology and techniques. Now, you can quickly transfer files from one mobile device to another, from mobile devices to computers, and vice versa. Initially, most file transfers involve sending small-size files through email, flash drive/USB, slack and Bluetooth. However, how do you transfer large files at a rapid rate? This is why investor and businessman Spiridon Geha, listed some large file transfer hacks. In 1997, Spiridon established a company that repairs smartphones, laptops, computers, and tablets that have warranty or expired warranties. The small business is located in Australia and provides top-notch services. Spiridon likes to race on motorbikes, yachts, cars, and ski.

Why do you need to transfer your files?

People transfer their files because;

  • They have bought a new laptop or computer. Therefore, they want to move their files from the old one to the new one.
  • To back up their files in case of theft or damage.
  • Some transfer files to their mobile devices for easy access to the files whenever they need them.
  • To have copies for future reference.

Ways to rapidly send large files from one device to another

The following methods are useful for transferring huge files without waiting for long, according to Spiridon Geha. Even if you want to send large files from one computer to another, you can use the techniques. Examples of large files you can transfer are large audio and video files, ISO files, APKs, and so on.

Share Files via a Local Area Network (LAN) with network-attached storage (NAS)

For those that often transfer huge files from one computer to another, Spiridon Geha advises them to use this method. It involves buying a NAS and a fast LAN. When your organization has a high-speed LAN, your workers can work efficiently and send files easily. They have to transfer huge files through SSDs or flash drives with limited speed and storage space. It will also eliminate the problem of going from one office to another just to get the transferred files. So have a NAS system installed in various offices so that your workers can store any amount of data there.

Advantages of using this file transfer method

  • It can store very large files, unlike external SSDs and NVMe SSDs.
  • Only authorised devices can access the transferred files, hence it is a safe method of file transfer.
  • Workers don’t need to stop or interrupt their work when moving files or when they want to access the files. This improves work efficiency and reliability.
  • Files moved to NAS are always up-to-date whenever you edit or make any changes to them. Thus, there is no need to wait for a coworker to finish his or her tasks to check if the files are updated.

Disadvantages

  • It is a very expensive file transfer method because the cost of buying a NAS with a high-speed LAN is high.
  • It is not easy to maintain because not many people know how to use and maintain NAS.
  • Risk of data loss and data breach. If an organization only has one NAS and is infected by a virus, all the data stored there is lost. Likewise, hackers can hack into the NAS, and steal all the information or data stored inside. Or they may expose the data to the public.

Use an M.2 NVMe SSD

Computer scientists and those who are tech-savvy use an SSD device called M.2 NVMe to transfer files. However, this method only works if;

  • The device you are transferring from and the device you are transferring to have an M.2 slot.
  • You have an M.2 NVMe SSD.

Note, this is different from other types of external SSDs. Using an M.2 NVMe SSD guarantees you a fast transfer of very large files from one computer to another. It is also good for those who store their files on a different SSD (M.2 NVMe). If this is so, then it is easier to transfer the files without using file explorer. Nevertheless, you can still use it even if you don’t store your data separately on another M.2 NVMe SSD.

Advantages of using M.2 NVMe SSD

  • It can write and read files at a speed of over 7,000 megabytes per second. This makes it one of the fastest file transfer techniques.
  • Its read and write speed is higher than other transfer devices like external SSDs, flash drives, and many more.
  • Files that are transferred using this method can be stored permanently on the new device.
  • Once the file transfer is done, there is no need to transfer the files to another storage device. This means that you will save more time and effort when you use an M.2 NVMe SSD.

Transfer using an External Gen 2×2 SSD with USB 3.2

External SSDs rapidly transfer your files from one device to another. They are fast, easy to use, and have high read and write speeds. You can even use them to transfer large files from your tablet to your computer. Businessmen like Spiridon Geha that deal with large amounts of data daily use this method of transferring files.

Conclusion

Finally, Spiridon Geha advises large corporate organizations to invest in high-speed file transfer methods. It will help their organizations and workers in so many ways. Additionally, it will increase their work efficiency and help them focus more on their job.
