1. Keep in mind that first impressions matter.

No matter how nervous you are, you have to stay composed and always try to make a positive first impression. If you have received an audition invitation, make sure to respond politely. You never know who you are communicating with.

As soon as you step into the audition room, build relationships right away. Establish eye contact when you speak and smile. Do not forget to be courteous to everyone, no matter how unimportant you may think they are.

2. Be confident, yet approachable.

It’s okay to be nervous. Just make sure your nerves don’t overpower you. Appear confident using your body language and show good posture.
