Pakistan beats New Zealand on Wednesday in Birmingham by 6 wickets. Pakistan scores 241 runs in 49.1 over’s whereas New Zealand scores 237 runs in 50.0 over’s. By winning this match Pakistan kept their hope alive for semifinals. Babar Azam and Haris sohail partnership helped the Pakistan to win the match. Haris sohail was run out after scoring 68 runs and Babar Azam score 101 runs and became the man of the match. New Zealand had their first defeat by losing the match from Pakistan but still they are at no.2 on the point table by five win from seven matches meanwhile Pakistan had three win from seven matches. Pakistan captain sarfaraz ahmed said that “they are not thinking about the 1992 ,they are just going match by match.”
