North Pole Way is a fictional street in the North Pole, where Santa Claus and his reindeer live. It is a long, winding road that is lined with snow-covered trees and houses. Vixen and Blixen are two of Santa’s reindeer, and they live on North Pole Way. They have a beautiful house with a red roof and a chimney. Vixen and Blixen are very good reindeer, and they love to help Santa deliver presents to children all over the world.

Here is a poem about North Pole Way for Vixen and Blixen:

Vixen and Blixen, two of Santa’s reindeer,
Live on North Pole Way.
They have a beautiful house,
With a red roof and a chimney.

Vixen and Blixen are very good reindeer,
And they love to help Santa deliver presents to children all over the world.
They fly through the air on Christmas Eve,
Bringing joy to children everywhere.

Vixen and Blixen are two of Santa’s best friends,
And they are always there to help him.
They are a part of the magic of Christmas,
And they make the world a better place.

How many are Santa’s Reindeer?

Everyone knows the famous Rudolph, thanks to the popular song about his red nose. However, don’t be surprised that the Reminders are 9 in total. Infact, Rudolph initially wasn’t among the pack. That is why she is the ninth and the youngest of them all.

The journey to gift delivery always begins by Santa calling out the reindeer. It always goes like this: Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer, and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Dunder and Blixem! These first 8 were first introduced in the 1823 poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” (a.k.a. “The Night Before Christmas”).

Hence, there names are:

  • Dasher
  • Dancer
  • Prancer
  • Vixen
  • Comet
  • Cupid
  • Dunder
  • Blixem
  • Rudolph ( the youngest).

Another surprise? The reindeers are all females! The can’t be male because only female reindeer still have antlers at Christmas. This enables them to fly long distances under unfavourable conditions for a short period of time. The males species lose their antlers in mid-December and therefore couldn’t fly.

Who are Santa’s Reindeers?

Dasher: Dasher is the eldest and the leader of the reindeer pack. When Santa set out on the flight, the dasher calls the direction. She prides herself on her extraordinary fast skills and sport activities. Fast, highly social, happy, party lover with great care for others.

Dancer: Dancer is one of its kind. When she is not helping Santa, she is seen having dancing parties. From Tango, merengue to salsa, Dancer is the best in the game. She is always the heart of the party and always ready to get it down when the other reindeers are celebrating their birthdays. Aside from the passion for dance, she also earns that from me due to the graceful coordination and movement. Plus, she is strong, has a big heart and is well-loved by others.

Prancer: always looking her best. Prancer is always seen with a mirror every time to admire her beauty and ensure she looks her best. She is very neat and loves to keep things tidy. Prancer also sometimes pull off pranks on the rest and she enjoys good times with her friends. She is outgoing, smart, neat, loyal with a great look.

Vixen: when vixen is not putting her magical skills to good use, she is being a comedian. I bet all the male vixen would want her to their girlfriend because she is ready to beat them at any challenge. She is high spirited, loveable, and always making others laugh. Vixen smartness and tricks are indispensable during Christmas time. She knows how to the Christmas present appear big, even bigger than the chimney.

Comet: the strongest of them all yet stubborn. Comet is always seen with Santa checking out how the kids are doing and all the children love to be around her. When Santa’s sleigh loses direction, Comet will always find a way to bring it back on track.

Her name came from  an enormous comet which flew through the skies at the same moment she was born. This is the one that foretells Comet’s future as a famous flying reindeer. Loveable, caring, want the best for others and the kids, always willing to help.

Cupid: named after cupid the god of love, the Roman mythology. That is why you will always see Cupid spreading love whether during Christmas party or valentine’s day. She often mysteriously places mistletoe sprigs along people’s entryway while she sings to serve as a reminder for people to hug, kiss and show each other love during Christmas time. She is the most social, loving, friendly, spreading love and joy anywhere she goes.

Donner: the one that ensures those Christmas gifts are ready for the kids is Donner. Donner is always the party rocker and always puts everyone into the mood of the party. She loves singing and she is always seen melodiously singing out her favourite song ” Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. The others could help but appreciate and applaud her voice and songs. Very creative, high-spirited, music lover, Blitzen’s best friend.

Blixen: as her name is, so she is. Blitzen is derived from a German word for “lightning”. Blitzen is fast as lighting and fast as a bolt when delivering Christmas goodies. Her ability to fly at a young age is proof of her prowess. She is very adventurous, always trying new things while pulling others up to reach their full potential. When they are running out of time, Blitzen is the one who infuses speed into the other reindeers. And voila, your Christmas present is at your doorstep in no time. Speedy, adventurous, and full of energy.

Rudolph: everyone loves Rudolph. The youngest of them all and the most popular. Well known for the luminous red nose which she uses to lead the team and guide Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve. Santa’s guiding light is always ready to save the day when an evil pop up. While young, she was shy and wouldn’t be allowed to play the reindeer games. She however turn out to be the one leading the pack when the red nose became valuable for directing Santa and the rest safely as they navigate through the snow. A born leader, humble, always willing to help others, loves exploring and seeing new places.

These are Santa’s helpers! We can’t wait to know who will lead the sleigh this year. To enjoy the group’s little world, take a trip to north pole way for Vixen and Blixen.
